Message from the President – JN Maragia

Kindness is a language that the blind can see, and the deaf can hear. It is these beautiful words of Mark Twain that have shaped my ideals as a human being. From time to time, I have asked myself what my legacy would be. This existential question is not premised on anything dark or untoward. Rather it is guided by, the brevity of life, and how much needs to be done everywhere. I took it upon myself to do the little that I can, all factors remaining constant. “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him, as you have helped his people, and continue to help them.” This Bible verse strengthens me in this resolve in Hebrews Chapter 6, Verse 10. I do not claim to be perfect in any sense of the word. I am just a person surrounded by people that have shown me love, as they have given their resources towards this noble initiative that I started. I am just but one person trying to do the very much that I can to ensure that I spread this love with uttermost dedication. I am just but one person who could not stand at the periphery and see my people suffer under the most indignifying conditions. I am just but one person who made a choice not to dream for myself, but to dream for my community as well. I encourage each and every one visiting this website to know that, as the Foundation’s President, I remain committed to the ideals of ensuring that each and every person lives a life that accords them the most basic of human liberties. It is to this end, all resources, in cash or in kind, shall be directed to their intended causes. May you be blessed as you contribute towards these causes that we hold so dear. May you blessed as you link up with the Foundation, walking with us, all to the benefit of multitudes.
